Little Pegs is an inviting, clean, safe space where children have the freedom to explore high-quality play areas and resources.
Our play-based sessions run for 1 hour 30 minutes, designed for children from 0 to 4 years. Children will have the freedom to explore the high-quality play areas and resources plus a storytime/songtime to complete your play experience.
Our carefully designed play areas are filled with engaging activities and stimulating resources that encourage creativity, confidence and communication.
At Little Pegs your children will find the opportunity to discover the world around them in a safe and welcoming environment.

We haven't forgotten about the grown-ups! Our café serves high-quality Crosby Coffee and a selection of tasty treats, perfect for those times when you need a pick-me-up. We've thought of everything to ensure your visit is enjoyable and stress-free.
Whether you had a sleepless night, need a moment to recharge or just catching up with friends, our friendly staff and cozy atmosphere is the perfect environment.

We offer both morning and afternoon sessions with times to suit most families.
Morning
(Tues/Wed/Fri)
Morning sessions run from 09.30 to 11.00 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Perfect for after the school run or 5am walk-up call.
Afternoon
(Tues/Wed/Fri)
Afternoon sessions run from 12.00 to 13.30 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Break up the day and keep your little ones busy.
A Visit from Father Christmas @ Little Pegs (19th Dec)
Our final play session of the year – calm, cosy and full of magic, with extended 2-hour play.
Father Christmas and his elves are stopping by Little Pegs for a gentle, joy-filled celebration. Little ones will explore our festive play enhancements, make reindeer food to take home for Christmas Eve, and enjoy a very special meet & greet with Father Christmas – then gather for storytime and a festive singalong with Father Christmas and his elves to close. Each child will also receive a small gift from Father Christmas.
Here’s what’s included
✨ Festive play space: Seasonal, open-ended invitations to play and explore.
🦌 Reindeer food making: Simple sprinkle mix to take home and scatter on Christmas Eve.
🎅🏻 A visit from Father Christmas: Calm, friendly meet & greet with the big man and his elves.

Elf Giggles & Glitter @ Little Pegs (5th Dec)
Cheeky elf party with makes, music and bubbles.
Join us for Elf Giggles & Glitter – a playful festive session where a cheeky elf pops into Little Pegs for storytime, songs and a bubble party, alongside cosy, creative makes for little hands. Perfect for the whole family. All ages welcome.

Join China Butterfly at Little Pegs
Make a Christmas memory to treasure. In this special Little Pegs session, China Butterfly joins us so your little one can create a personalised traditional bauble. You’ll also find a small selection of festive ceramics available on the day as optional extras.
Alongside bauble creation, enjoy our Christmas-themed play enhancements and a joyful festive circle time to finish — all the Little Pegs magic in a cosy, feel-at-home space.

A cosy Little Pegs play session where Cristina (Notable Photography) captures natural, in-the-moment photographs as your little one plays, explores and connects with their favourite people. You’ll receive your best portraits from the day, aiming for at least two per family.
Festive activities include:

We’re so excited to welcome back Laura from All Aglow for a soothing, Christmas-themed baby massage supporting bonding, relaxation and connection. Plus time to create a festive keepsake to treasure (the sweetest memory of this cosy first Christmas).
